Best carpet & upholstery cleaning in West Columbia, SC

★★★★★5 (185 reviews)score 91/100

Complete Carpet Care posts a 5.0 average across 185 reviews, the highest volume and rating combination on this list, backed by a sentiment score that shows almost no complaint noise. • Owner known by name with a loyal repeat customer base
• Repairs like burn marks and pet damage come out invisible
• Same-day and next-day appointments often available
• Phone quotes match the final bill with no surprises

★★★★★4.8 (87 reviews)score 84/100

Carolina Carpet Cleaning of the Midlands earns a 4.8 rating over 87 reviews with named technicians like David, Jack, and Cayden getting called out repeatedly for careful, explained work. Same-day service and strong follow-through make this a solid second choice behind the top spot.

• Professional, thorough cleaning with staff who explain the process
• Same-day service and reliable on-time arrival
• Handles pet odors and stubborn stains well
• Carpet repair and restoration offered alongside cleaning

Watch out: A handful of reviews mention scheduling delays on pickups and one stain that didn't fully lift.

★★★★★5 (5 reviews)score 59/100

Rapid Dry Carpet Cleaning has a perfect 5.0 rating, though only from 5 reviews, so treat it as a promising newer name rather than a proven volume player. What stands out is customers noting carpets dried faster than expected and looked restored even after heavy soiling, with Matt and Larry praised for punctuality and friendliness.

• Faster drying times than traditional steam cleaning
• Restores carpet that looked heavily soiled beforehand

Watch out: Review count is still small, so the track record is thinner than the top two picks.

★★★★☆3.6 (7 reviews)score 52/100

Sandlapper Cleaning & Services draws praise from commercial clients for prompt, fair-priced work, but the review history is mixed and small at 7 reviews with a 3.6 average. It's worth a look for commercial jobs where the track record checks out, with the caveat that contact reliability has been an issue for some.

• Prompt turnaround reported by commercial clients
• Professional field and office staff

Watch out: Some customers report trouble getting a response when trying to make contact.

★★★☆☆2.8 (4 reviews)score 42/100

Rug Doctor rounds out this list as a self-service rental option rather than a hands-on specialist, and recent feedback is a concern: a 2.8 rating from 4 reviews includes two recent reports of dirty or malfunctioning machines that forced customers to hire outside help. One older review mentioned friendly staff, but equipment reliability looks like the sticking point right now.

• Friendly and helpful staff noted in at least one review
• Commercial-grade machines available to rent

Watch out: Recent reviews describe dirty machines and equipment that didn't work, so check the unit before you leave the store.
